چکیده

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third common cause of malignancy in Iran, and its incidence rate has been raised due to an increase individual environmental risk factors. Objectives: The present study aimed define role human papillomavirus (HPV) infection CRC, then by drawing a phylogenetic tree, we analysis sequences isolated HPVs, finally determine viral genome physical status for HPV-16. Methods: A nested-PCR (nPCR), direct sequencing, INNO-LiPA HPV genotyping assay were carried out detection, quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) was conducted genome. Results: Among 157 subsets, there 66 cases 91 controls. Moreover, 5.7% (9/157) positive nPCR, among whom 9.1% (6/66) 3.3% (3/91) control groups (P = 0.750). qRT-PCR showed three forms integrated, episomal, mixed our HPV-16 strains. higher detected CRC cases; however, it not statistically significant. Conclusions: Although limited results, ages (> 65) related involvement outcome. Furthermore, infected with HPVs. integration observed high-grade severe patients.
